Thailand Pass – Travellers Guide

Since the 1st November 2021, the Thai government has re-opened Thailand without the need for quarantine for vaccinated foreign tourists and travellers from 63 “low-risk” countries. This new entry scheme is generally referred to as the “Thailand Pass” or “TLP” or “Test & Go”.

You will only be required to book and pre-pay one (1) night in a SHA+ Hotel (which we are) and undergo one (1) PCR test on arrival at the airport. As soon as the test result is returned to you “negative” you are free to leave your room and, following your night’s stay, you are entitled to move around Phuket and other provinces of Thailand.

You may register for the “Thailand Pass” online at https://tp.consular.go.th/We recommend to register at least 7 working days prior to arrival to ensure the timely receipt of approval.

As you will be required to undergo one (1) PCR test on arrival at the airport, we advise booking and paying this test in advance from the Phuket Swab Appointment System (PSAS) under the following link: https://www.thailandpsas.comBooking in advance will speed up the process at the airport.

Requirements for the Thailand Pass entry scheme

Other than coming from one of the 63 “low risk” countries (as of 1st November 2021) the following documents will be needed to upload in the system during the online registration process. (Please note that the system only accepts files in the formats jpeg, jpg and png. Further, we advise that you only use a personal eMail address from Gmail or Yahoo. Hotmail or Outlook addresses are not accepted).

Upon completion of the registration process, you will receive instantly an automated reply to your eMail address, which confirms that your registration has been received and that you will receive a reply within 7 working days.

With the approval, you will also receive a document with a QR Code, which is what you need to board your plane and later enter Thailand at the airport. (Please note that if your registration is rejected, you will need to re-apply completely new and wait another 7 working days)
